SU ID Camp is for boys ages 14-19 and the SU Elite Camp is for boys ages 10-14.
SU ID Camp is $650 for a resident camper and $550 for a commuter camper. SU Elite Boys Camp is $575 for a resident camper and $475 for a commuter.
Payment online is available by credit card. A paper brochure/registration can be downloaded under the documents tab on the camp website if you prefer. You can complete it and mail it with a check/money order made out to: Ian McIntyre Soccer, Inc.
We accept applications until the sessions are full. Camp fills quickly, so we suggest registering early, especially for goalkeepers.
Yes, the form is on our documents page. Please fill it out and attach your up-to-date vaccination records. You can scan and email, or smartphone picture and email, the form to Mike Mangano, Athletic Trainer, mmangano@syr.edu
Yes, when the session fills, an online waiting list will become available. No deposit is necessary to be placed on the waiting list.
If registering online, a confirmation letter will be sent immediately by email. If applying by mail, you should receive an email confirmation letter within 2 weeks. Please contact us if you have not received your email confirmation letter. A thorough checklist of items necessary for camp will accompany the email confirmation letter.
No, we will provide a ball for each camper to use.
Please note that there is a $100 non-refundable administration fee with every registration. In the event you need to cancel, please contact us in writing and we will review refunds on a case-by-case basis. Any cancellation within one week of camp will result in a forfeiture of the entire camp fee. If you cancel due to injury, you must provide medical documentation to be eligible for a refund (less the $100 admin fee).

Yes! You can enter your roommate choice during online registration or with a hard copy registration. We make every effort to accommodate requests.
Campers are housed in one of SU's dormitories and eat in one of our dining facilities on campus.
On the first day of camp, registration will occur between 11:30 am and 1:30 pm at the Dorm (TBD). The first training session starts at 2:30PM. CAMPERS MUST BE PRESENT TO REGISTER. If you will be arriving late due to travel or scheduling conflicts, please email us or call before 2:00 pm to let us know!
Camp ends on Tuesday at 11:30am. A brief awards ceremony will occur in Manley Field House at 11:00 am. Plan to attend!
The first meal is dinner on the first day of camp.
The last meal is breakfast on the last day of camp.
10:1 for field players and 8:1 for goalkeepers.
Campers are fully supervised by our head of housing and camp staff 24 hours per day, during all camp activities and while in rooms. Camp staff and trainers reside on each of the dormitory floors at night. Extra security is hired to monitor the dorms from 10:00 pm to 1:00 a.m.
Fully certified athletic trainers are available 24 hours per day and on the fields during training sessions.
No specific level of ability is required. We just ask that all campers bring the desire to learn and have fun, and we will help them reach the next level!
The checklist will be sent to each camper with a confirmation letter upon our receipt of your application.
We advise campers to bring their own snacks for the duration of camp. Vending machines are also available in the dormitory. Pizza and wing orders can be placed with camp staff before heading out for evening matches. Orders are then brought right to the dorm for pick-up by campers after the last session. We do not allow outside vendors into the dorms to make deliveries.
Typical spending money at camp is $60 - $75 for the week.

2019 Junior Orange Frequently Asked Questions
Yes! Junior Orange Soccer Camp will have a full-time athletic trainer from the Syracuse University Sports Medicine Department.
Half Day campers should bring a snack to camp. Full Day campers need to bring a snack and a sack lunch to camp.
Shin guards are required for all campers. Soccer shoes or sneakers are fine for young campers. If wearing cleats, campers should also bring a pair of flat soccer shoes or sneakers for indoor activities. Please clearly label all items with camper's name, including cleats, as most cleats look the same!
Absolutely. Many of the campers are beginners once they enter this camp. This camp is designed for all skill levels. In fact, we encourage your child to bring a friend that has not yet been introduced to this exciting sport to help spread the passion for soccer in schools around Syracuse.
If your son or daughter is excelling in his/her camp group, the staff coach and camp director will make a decision whether or not your son or daughter would benefit by moving to an older age group.
During inclement weather we will be inside the Manley Field House which is field turf and located near the SU Soccer Stadium.
Please make every effort to be on time. However, a camp director will always stay in the parking lot after camp until every camper has been picked up. Please call 315 385-1646 to let us know if you are running behind.
Yes, each child should bring a water bottle. It is recommended that Full Day campers bring a larger water jug. We will also provide water and Gatorade at all sessions.
Yes. We will keep a lost and found box throughout the day. Please double check your child every day upon picking him/her up to make sure they have their cleats, shoes, shin guards, lunch box, and water bottle as lost and found items add up quickly.
Registration on the first day of camp will occur between 8:00am and 9:00am outside the SU Soccer Stadium (Manley Field House South Parking Lot - East Colvin St.). The first session begins at 9:00am. Campers must be present to register. If you will be arriving late due to a conflict, please email or call us before 9:00am to let us know.
Half day campers are dismissed at 12:00pm; full day campers are dismissed at 3:00pm. Dismissal is from the SU Soccer Stadium. Parents must sign their child out before leaving. If someone else is picking up your child, please send in a signed note.
